Houseplants
are great to have around because they provide a splash of 'living green'.
Flowering houseplants add even more. But hey, how to you get them to
bloom? Plants bloom if they get good care--the right light, temperature, water, food and growing medium. But how much and where, depend on the plant. In other words, if you can get one African violet to bloom you’ll be successful with any of them. But if you treat your Christmas cactus the same way, it will probably never flower.
